Adventure 200: Covered Wagon RV Park/Phoenix, AZ/Post D

David Block practicing a double stick workout.
She's at it again! The cribbage gods favored me this morning. I was well on my way to handing the Wily Cager a nice, juicy smelly skunk (She escaped like the Wily one she is, so the score is tied 2-2) when she suddenly reached over and tried to grab MY hand. She said, "Well, you've been getting lots better hands than me." I thought she had overcome her tendency to cheat (I know, it's a strong word), but I was sadly mistaken. She also returned to her favorite trick of moving her front peg. It's a wonder I was able to overcome her wily tricks. On a more positive note, after breakfast we rode almost forty minutes for a total just over six miles. Judy seems to be handling the extra stress on her leg quite well. Before long, she'll be back to normal. Our park manager, Angie, had us move once again into the spot we'll have for the duration. It's a nicely shaded spot as far from the freeway was possible. It is, in fact, the spot we were hoping for when she started giving us options. Many people would shy away from this little RV park because it's located in what some may term as the "ghetto". We like it because it's personal. Angie has done everything she could to make our stay here pleasant. In the large parks (The one we stayed in last year had over 600 sites) the service by its very nature cannot be as personal. Tonight, we had had our second Tai Chi lesson, this time from the master teacher (David Block). It was excellent. It provides a chance for growth and exposure to a  new persecutive. Judy stepped right in as well. I think it's good to get out of my comfort zone, and Judy is willing to stretch herself, too (It's one of the things I like about her most--not her Wily Cager moves). At any rate, we're off and running in our Phoenix experience. We're still not so sure about the volume of people and the traffic, but since we're retired, we don't have to put ourselves on the road with the working stiffs, and that means life is good, especially today.
The sex may be over, but the blooming continues.
Both buds are in full bloom.
Stumpy ready for a "long" ride.
Arizona Hot Rod of the day:  A Lime Green Cadillac.
