Adventure 198: Covered Wagon RV Park/Phoenix, AZ/Post B

Asian Arts Academy |
Stumpy, the Wily Cager, scored multiple point hands throughout the game (I can remember that, even though the morning seems so long ago). I had to utter that dreaded phrase, "Well, at least I didn't get skunked." The sad result is that I'm behind 1-zip. Better luck tomorrow. Our day was filled with exploring the area as we like to do in order to get our bearings. We also drove up the road about ten miles to the Desert Edge RV Park just in case Angie couldn't find a spot for us here. (Not to worry. When we got back tonight after our first Tai Chi lesson, Angie, who was still working at 9 P.M., informed us that she would have a spot for us to move into tomorrow). That's great because this place is about fifteen minutes from the Asian Arts Center, and with thirty spaces, it's about one sixth the size of the others. We really enjoy these smaller Mom and Pop places. The ladies here are nice, and they work like Sauder salesmen. Beyond that, the monthly charge is $460.00 versus $960.00. Our Tai Chi lesson was excellent. There were three of us, four counting the instructor, John Hagel. We'll receive instruction M-W-Th-Sa-Sun. Judy is not too sure about the Sunday morning class because it may conflict with church, but maybe we can find a service later in the morning. Our lunch stop today at Pedros Mexican, as recommended by Yelp, was only medium, so we had to double up (literally) by sharing a Double-Double with fries at the local In and Out. In and Out never disappoints, and it's amazing that we made all the way through California without enjoying one. Ever conscious of our girlish figures, we shared (I had to take out the magic marker to make sure the Judy bites didn't encroach) one burger, one coke, and twenty-two fries each. Those of you who have been married for awhile, know that the domains of existence become quite established: sides of the bed, bites of food, decisions to ask for directions, clothes that look alike, voting records, finishing sentences (sometimes not even finishing), etc. It is what makes married life good. Speaking of good, the weather here today was in the mid eighties, which is a little warmer than normal, but for us, it was pure bliss. All I can say is, life is good, especially today.
Not really good, but really good and cheap.
Art shot of the day.
The chips were Costco wholesale, but the hot sauce was quite good.
Nothing to write home about; however, the pollo did have nice flavor.
I finally did get in but barely. Stumpy used this water to soak a rag for a cold compress.
Hot Rod of the Day (This may be what Frac will look like down the road).
Single whip.
Grasping the peacock's tail.
Judy bite.
