Adventure 596: Morro Bay State Park/Post A

Morro Bay #2.
We eased out of our tight spot in Jalama this morning, and continued easing our way up the coast until we got to Pismo Beach. We oogled the surfer dudes and the volleyball babes for a while until our fish taco spot, The Chop Shop, opened. Judy had clipped an article from a Sunset magazine four years ago which highlighted this place on the main tourist drag of Pismo Beach. Our server, a nose ringed quintessential gentleman of the California coast commented, "Maybe four years counts as just a minute." The tacos were delicious, the fresh cut fries sublime, and even though my Bunny tried, she was forced to utter, "At least I didn't get skunked." After lunch, we ambled up the coast, and since we couldn't check in until two, we decided to take care of the house cleaning. Doing the laundry took a little over an hour and a half, cost a whopping fifteen dollars, and found us fresh and happy when we eased ourselves into site #2. Of course, as I arranged the outside, Judy spent her time cleaning house, ridding th floor of the sand and grit we took with us from Jalama. She made the bed, put away the clothes and otherwise made her little "home" a place she could enjoy. In the meantime, I hooked up the power, the water, eased out the awning, set out the BBQ, and strung our little trailer lights. Life was then truly good as we finished off some left overs in anticipation of buying more goods at the Saturday market. Simply said, we love Morro Bay where life is good, especially today.

Judy discovered this place four years ago in Sunset.
Fresh grilled halibut tacos with fresh cut frites. Yum!
Pismo Beach, a long flat space full of surfers and volleyball players.
If her hands are moving, things are Cagey.
 Our new neighbor's philosophy.

 Selfie of the day.

 Lookin' good, Pop Pops.
