Adventure 462: The Story of George, Start the FOMO Tour

June 14, 2018
We had dinner with George, Vina, and Ed last night. All three looked chipper and still capable of taking on the world. George is doing well, and except for a bit of wet shoe due to getting adjusted to a new catheter, things are good. I'll leave aside for the moment the things in life that take on less importance as we get older, but suffice to say. Priorities change.

As for us, we're dashing around like expectant parents waiting for their daughter to get home from her  senior prom date. We've been schlepping supplies and things to the trailer. Judy is racing around her gardens, giving each flower, bush, shrub, and young upstart a final massage and a little kiss. We're so excited, we may even begin suffering from George's wet shoe shuffle. We can't wait to get this FOMO tour started. The fear of missing out is fuel for our greedy souls. We are among those fortunate souls who actually enjoy their relatives. We can't wait to spend time at "camp", and my Bunny is beyond distraught that she must miss Rod and Karen's fiftieth wedding celebration. But not to worry, even late celebrations are worth having so our visit to Little Eden will undoubtedly be filled with raucous joy, belly jiggling laughter, and a plethora of good will. We have plotted nine days to get there. First night, Bozeman, Montana; second night, Glendive, Montana; third night, Fargo, ND; fourth night, Ashland, WI. After that we'll camp somewhere in the UP. We'll be among the Trolls bringing our civil society ways to the great North. We'll spend a day at Mackinaw Island when we get close enough. As always, we pray for traveling mercies and are ever grateful that we have this opportunity to share adventures together. My Bunny, the Wiley Cager (Stumpy), is a good companion, and this place we call home (USA) is amazing. Much to see. Much to do. Much to be happy for-enough, say, to suggest that life is good, especially today.

Our habit is to clean before we go. we washed the trailer and the truck. I cleaned all three bathrooms, vacuumed the basement, dusted, made the bed and cleaned my shop.
 Judy waxed Frac
And then, I relaxed for a while in the tub (It's the only amenity I miss on the road).
