Adventure 456: Libby's Birthday Bash

Thirty-four years ago, we welcomed Elizabeth Anne (Libby, Biz, Boopie) Williams to our family. She's been a bright light ever since. Although she demurred when I asked her how she felt about being thirty-four (She claimed she hasn't impacted the world much), I beg to differ. She's a solid, self-driven, fiercely independent woman. She's a loving sister, a nurturing aunt, a valued friend, a conscientious employee, and a good citizen. Who could ask for anything more? But, of course, there's more: she's a cancer survivor, a college graduate, an accomplished baker and cook and an eager traveler who seeks adventure and challenge. In addition, she's cute, funny, forthright, and creative. She is, after all, my favorite daughter (I'm a bit biased). Nevertheless, those who know her concur. In any case, her birthday pizza bash was wildly successful, and we're all grateful that Libby is here. She makes life good, especially today.
Mimi's garden awaits the birthday guests.
Judy and Deb manning the pizza station.
Sarah  Bearah doing her third grade face.
Kevin Glover (Our house mate) and Emily took some time to play bookworm.
One of eleven pizzas. This one is new: bacon, carmelized onions, and cream fraiche.
The guests enjoying Emily's happy birthday tribute to Libby that she played on her violin.

Cousin Erin, Libby, Aunt Teresa, and Aunt Trish.

 The birthday girl.
Home made Angel Food Cake, Dorothy Friesen stye.
Cousin Stephie and her beaux, Brady.
Aunt Rose supervising the pizza production.
Libby clapping for her birthday song. I missed the hug between Auntie Libby and Emily.
 The candle blowing.
Me with my favorite daughter and my favorite son.
