Woke up at the crack of dawn to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. Nice! After oatmeal, some banana pieces, a plum, and a 29 cent cribbage victory, I felt ready for the drive. Some eight hours later we cruised into Fargo none the worse for wear. One difference traveling in the luxury of Herbie Joe rather than Fric and Frac is every where we stay we have to shlep our cooler, our clothes, our electronic gizmos, and our possibles bag into the Air B and B. I know. First world problem. Beyond that, everything is delightful. The wind blew off our port stern at thirty to forty miles per hour for the whole day. We encountered more than a few lane adjusting gusts, which would have been a bit more problematic in the trailer. No worries, we cruised at eighty for most of the day averaging a little over 24 mph/gallon. So it was all good. Because it was windy, we decided to eat lunch in the car. The highlight of the night was dinner at the Wurst Bier Hall where we enjoyed local sausage, local beer, and delicious German potato salad. I mean Uff Da, Y'all. Life is good especially today.
