Adventure 249: Rod and Karen Franz/Manhattan, KS/Post B

Karen's house is full of pretty scenes.

It's all about family today. The Hackney (Kara Franz Hackney) family is in town for Easter. Let me tell you, the energy is high. Troy and Kara have three children: Korryn, 12; Blythe, 6; Canton, 6 mos. The morning found everyone (But me) chipping in on helping Kara (A teacher) with her homework. Then there was the Easter Egg hunt from which the girls came home with many treats found. And of course, we ate a few times today. Egg bake for breakfast. Pizza for lunch. Lasagna for dinner (Not much chance of catching the skinnies her in Kansas). It was a tie between myself and Blythe as to who ate the most chocolate Easter Eggs. In between Judy and Karen had some sister time. Rod did some service work with an eighty-five year old gentleman he visits weekly. Troy and Kara took advantage of some quality babysitters (Grandpa and Grandma) to go shopping. I made an appointment to have the oil changed in Frac. And Judy and I managed to walk enough steps to total over ten thousand, In all, it was a nice day. In the evening we've gathered to watch what's left of the March Madness. With two games left to play, life is good, especially today.
