Adventure 661: Williams Family Vacation/Lake Chelan/Post B

Day two added two. Angela and Sawyer arrived safely after a long drive from Portland. When Justin arrives tomorrow, we'll be a complete team. Touched a 100 degrees here today. We spent the day moving back and forth from the pool area to the air conditioning inside. Steve and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood in the early morning, which is up and down hillsides peppered with homes and orchards. The electric bike comes in very handy riding up the short steep hills around here. Libby and Leticia walked down town for coffee-4 miles round trip. Everyone went down to check on the public park next to the lake. The paddle boards will probably come out tomorrow. We'll see. We had a nice dinner prepared by Steve and Bonnie who did the cooking all day. They're now on the receiving end as it will be someone else's turn tomorrow. No matter. We're eating like royalty and grateful for it. Naturally we think that life is good, especially today.

Two masters of the aqua lounger.
Sarah and her ostrich.
Library Libby literally lounging.
Emily and Sarah twisted like a couple of silly pool noodles..
Emily protected from the sun, and the dark lights up her screen.
Mimi and Falcon learning how to work the love toys.
Mamacita Leticia razing Angela.
Mimi catching up with another one of her boys: Sawyer.

Muffin sized Dutch Babies smothered in maple syrup, blueberries, and doused with powdered sugar. Bacon and fruit on the side.
Chef for the day, Steve.
Mimi reading trivia cards from the eighties. The girls all knew the answers, and Mimi in her shock suffered some sling and arrows condemning her old "Mennonite" ways. Lots of laughs.
Falcon running interference during the corn hole game.

The girls on morning chat.
